Another quick Ubuntu tutorial. I use wifi quite a lot so getting the Gnome Keyring message can be a real pain. In this post I explain how to get it removed.
1. Installing software
#aptitude install libpam-keyring
This program allows you to use the default users password and allow a wifi connection.
(you’ll get a message saying the package is ‘untrusted’ just ignore it)
2. Open ‘keyring manager’
Fill in your password, and answer the following question with ‘always allow’.
At this point the gnome-keyring will be handed your login password and, if they are the same, will be authenticated at login.
